That technique still survives but my disappear soon, so I wanted to make an homage. It brings me memories of my student years, they represent the "invasion" of Lima by Andean people. In the years I studied in the Fine Arts School the walls of Center of Lima used to be covered overnight, it was very impressive to see because the striking colors contrasting with the misty gray atmosphere of Lima. That was a strong underground culture made by people that left their colorful sunny lands to start a new life as street vendors and maids in a city that treated them as illegals in their own country.
